Honeywell Hepa Filter

Honeywell’s Enviracaire HEPA air Filters are designed to remove particulate matter and harmful allergens from household air. The fine mesh removes irritants from the air such as pollen, bacteria, dust mites, animal dander, mold spores, tobacco smoke and harmful fibers like asbestos. It is highly recommended by people with problems breathing or with severe allergies for use in their home or office. The Honeywell Enviracaire HEPA Filter comes with a five year Limited Warranty and is very durable if maintained on schedule. There are two speed settings and the appliance circulates the air in the room at least six times an hour while introducing negative ions into the filtered air to further freshen the atmopshere.

Some of the models offer filters that can be vacuumed twice a year, referred to as the Hepa Lifetime Filters and can be used for regular air quality situations. Filters functioning in a toxic environment need to be replaced, however, and this is also an option to consider when chosing the correct model for your needs. The Honeywell Enviracaire HEPA Filter is portable, standing 2′ 6” with a circumference of 16” and weighing about fifteen pounds. It comes with a sturdy handle that makes it easy to move from room to room. It comes fully assembled and ready to use straight out of the box. There are a variety of models to accommodate different room sizes.

The HEPA system contains two filters, one for the large particulate matter and the second to further screen the smaller, sometimes microscopic particles. Depending on your air quality, the outer filter will need to be replaced ever 3 months or so, but the replaceable inner filter can last up to two years.  The Honeywell hepa Filter is quiet to operate, and many users report that the ‘white noise’ hum helps them to sleep at night. It is considered to be in the ‘light category’ of home air purifiers, and is useful to customers with mild allergies or those on a tight budget.
